Wow you need to learn about cars lol. Yeah 205 with the weight to power ratio amazing. Ask your mom if you want to race her deville and see who wins. Go with cold air intake, exhaust, new pulleys, and maybe headers. If you do that you will be pushing 260-275 hp. and 300 crank.

Uh... does your mommy have a 4.9L Northstar? Because yeah, those come 320HP from the factory, that's more then a STi if you want to get down to numbers. And you're talking about a V8, an engine that has twice as many cylinders and near 2 1/2 times the displacement as the Cobalt SS. That alone shows how young you are....

Vamp - just because someone has a V8 and is pumping out 320hp doesnt mean they are gonna be faster than someone with say....250hp - it all comes down to your HP/Weight ratio...Plus for instance, a SS can pump out 1400hp.....Thats quite the number for a 2.0L 4 cyl....dont see many V8's pumping out that much Hp per cubic inch...
