Malibu Solid Control Arm bushing?

Malibu Solid Control Arm bushing?

So, my buddy has an ss/sc and thus far is about to goto his 3rd set of control arm bushings.........with the weather the way it is up here in they just keep splitting..........we were told he could get the malibu bushing and use them as they are solid and won't split, any comments???

im guessing you are refering to the vertical bushing. you are talking about stock replacments and not polyurethane right???

yes, the lower control arm bushing, he keeps splitting them with how the weather is up here and were trying to figure out something that won't split, ie-solid bushing from the malibu that i am told would fit the cobalt.

Contact Josh at OTTP look at the pictures Maven posted you can have those in 1 to 2 weeks. Rock solid answer, none better...

a good friend of mine is a GM tech and another good friend of mine is a GM tech lol they both happen to work at the same shop and both previously owned ss/sc's, both of them say the Malibu solid lower control arm bushing is of a size that would fit on the ss/sc........apparently nobody has tried this yet but if it work it's a FTW fix for consistently replacing bushings

This is the 2004-up Malibu lower control arm, it wont work. Now if they are talking about old N-body 97-03 Malibus.....well thats the same arrangement as our rear but I am not sure if it would work.
