megan dift spec cat-back issues

ok so i have the dift spec catback from meganracing and its giving me a slight issue.

i have all this black soot coming out of my tailpipe and its really starting to annoy me.

i'm guessing the car is running rich but is this normal?

anyone else run into the same problem?
i thought it was a pcm problem and it may be but i dont have a CEL coming on

I own the same Exhuast as u and iv never had that problem.. but i also moved my forward a lil more and i have a ZZP DP which moves it out a lil more again.. so its either runnning rich or the exhuast is not far enough out...

i got ahold of a rep from meganracing and he said its the correct length. im gonna end up cutting it off and welding on a longer tailpipe. i'd rather make sure there isnt some other problem before cut it off.

hahah calm down man, cant take a joke? Your probably running rich. You wouldnt necessarily get a CEL for that, are you tuned or staged?

Get it tuned, and you might as well get pulley and injectors too. The tuner should make your AFR correct and you can get a wideband to monitor it also.

well honestly it might be the catback, ive never owned one....but every time i see a car with a megan or a can type of muffler, they usually have the black **** around it. Otherwise i would say its running rich. Nothing bad will come from making the the car faster with injector, pulley and a tune lol so try that haha

maybe that will fix it, if not than maybe its just the catback. Maybe the cat?
