Meth: Before & After

well... i put on the snow performance water meth kit about a month ago, but i bought the kit used from another member. In the beginning i was very disappointed bcuz with the 2.6
on a 40 roll i woiuld just be throwing 3rd and my iat2 was thru the roof... i would see over 165+. i called snow and told them i wanted the biggest nozzle they had, which as a 375ml/min nozzle and put it on.... let me tell u.... wut a diff..... the other day i went up to 145 and the hottest i saw the iat2 was like 156.... all the way thru 5th gear..... i have the dual interceptors and they tell u an est hp number to the crank.... on my 2.8 setup the highest i saw it go was like 294 hp..... now with the setup in my sig i see 365ish.... i know that can be innaccurate but atleast thats one way of seeing the diff....

street tune is great, but to squeeze all the possible power, u need a dyno.... for example, u dont know until wut timing advance u make power, so if u go to hihg up u loose power and wont know... also u dont know when ur car stops making power. so u can rev up to 8000 rpm and u might stop making power at 7500 rpm..... u need a dyno to fine tune.... but street tune will do right now

Obviously, but we can't let out all the secrets in one thread. Trust me, I've spent my fair share of time on the dyno too. Street tune gets it close, mustang dyno get it all worked out, and then a street adjustment if necessary makes the day.

I plan on doing some mods pretty soon and a turbo later on since im a 2.4 ss na. I have no idea where a dyno is around me. I live near Beckley West Virginia and I bet there isnt one closer than 100 miles anyway. If anyone knows of one around here, let me know. I would love to dyno my 93 Z28 6 speed. Thanks.

Go to Mustang Dyno or Dynojet's websites. Use their locator and viola you'll be set.

the 375 ml jet is a 5.9gph flow converted. The biggest snow has is a 625ml jet, converted to 9.9 gph. Much to big!!

ivebeen playing around with meth and im thinking with my car 4gph is about as big as this car wants to go. but my temps are alot lower than most peoples. im running 10-15 degrees over ambient temps on back to back dyno pulls in third gear, before i spray meth
