meth heads, get in here!

so i am tired of running out of boost juice! it's 49% meth 51% distilled water and some of mom's red food dye for 11.50 a gallon. fml! i have a 15 gallon fuel cell ive had for a while. i was thinking, you know what i'm thinking. 100 dollar fuel pump, some a/n fittings and steel braided lines. even comes with a float in the cell. perfect. amirite? tell me why it wouldn't work!

Using a fuel cell as a tank isn't a bad idea for a meth kit, however it's a lot of extra added weight for a daily driving car and this is something that you should take into consideration. If you have a 1 gallon tank it should last you roughly 2 weeks or more depending on how much your foot is in it and what size of nozzle you are running. I feel as if using a 15 gallon fuel cell for a meth tank is absolutely retarded, but this is just my opinion. A single 1 gallon tank that is small and doesn't weigh much that is easily accessible is better than a 15 gallon tank that you can't tell how much is in it, that weighs a ton, that is huge and takes up a lot of space etc.

You just have to weigh the pros and cons of having it thats all. To me the cons out weigh the pros. In my eyes there is only one pro, aka you don't have to fill it as much.

thats a lot of weight. besides the fact that meth is usually sprayed at 200-250psi. not many fuel pumps get that high. what size tank are you running right now?

Just contact your local vp dealer and buy a 5 gallon jug of m1 and mix it yourself.

Besides the dye sticks to your internals.

try it out, it cant hurt. the worst that happens is you have a huge meth tank and dont run out so often.

I have a 2.5 gallon tank mounted in my trunk im using the biggest nozzle that the kit came with my car is tuned for it to spray in at 6PSI at full at 11PSI. ive had it in there forrr about idk.. 2 and a half weeks now and ive only used maybe a half gallon. i filled it up half a gallon to tune it used 1/4th of that maybe, filled it up with another gallon befor i left and its been like that ever since its still has a considerable amount in it. oh and btw i daily drive my car. 6psi is a perfect spot to have it kick in for daily driving u maybe hit 5 psi goin up hill and what not. i dont have to worry at all about it. I check once in a while but i know how much is in there...alotttt haha =p

Wait did i just say that..i dont have meth.... *COUGH*

It can't hurt? Really, lets think about this logically. Lets put 15 gallons of a HIGHLY flammable liquid, which is more then our ENTIRE GAS TANK, in our trunk. Hmm if someone rear ends us that would be really fun! Not only that, but you don't know how much 15 gallons of meth weighs. That is enough weight to lower your mpg. So far we have 2 huge cons. Now to top it off I would assume that the fuel cell is made out of either metal or aluminum and is 100% enclosed and can't be seen. So with that you never know exactly what is left in the tank, which is going to make it questionable as to when you need to fill it. Obviously this can be solved with an LED indicator, but still, visibility would be nice. Lets see, what else can I think of. Ummm you would never be able to participate in auto-crossing events, you will be SLOWER then you are now because of your power to weight ratio and you will have limited trunk space depending on where this is put.

So with all of that being said, it's a BAD idea.

m5 nozzle 1gal tank 3or 4 passess on the strip tank is empty
opens at 9psi , i have now upgraded to a 3.75 tank
only bad thing is that the tank collapse becase of the vacuum.

edited for grammar

You can NOT go through 3/4ths of a tank, on a one gallon tank with a m5 nozzle in a SINGLE pass. Something is not right there.

so yeah, i'm using my wiper reservoir for about 2 years now. it's annoying. i use the medium jet. i run out in like a month. i don't wanna worry about it anymore. my setup now is ghetto as ****. wiper reservoir...come on. fuel cell is much more legit. i just need to find out the pressure the meth flows at. will i have an issue with the diameter of the lines? length? let's get some real data flowing, not opinionated bullshit.

i dont have mine come on until 12 psi. i have a 1.5 gallon tank and only need to fill mine like once a month at most. and you should fine somewhere to get straight meth and just add water yourself

not really, i just like the feeling. the boost is effective at lower rpm's, the car just goes. high octane has lots of advantages. it's nice when you're getting on the highway and you got a bitch in the car and you hit the gas it gives you that chest in the seat feeling. never did that without the meth and tune!

I prefer to go the cheap way 1.00 per gallon -20 Windshield washer fluid meth content may not be as high but it still get the job done.
