Meth injection, it is worth it for me?

I have searched and didnt really come to a conclusion. I'm in the process of purchasing a devils own meth injection progressive kit. I want to go with cooling mods now, but i have a question about meth injection.

Is it really worth it for me to sink 400 for the kit? Will i benefit from this without being tuned for a while?

My mods are gm stage 2 with nates 2.85" pulley, vibrant header/dp, corsa catback, injen intake, cxr heat exchanger.

My plans within the next year are:60's, 2.7" pulley, custom tune.

I am going to get the kit saturday, but before i commit, i wanna know if its worth it for me.

Thanks in advance.

Well from what I understand, the meth will allow for an increase in timing. And since you aren't getting tuned, I do not think it would benefit you like it is supposed to.

Without a tune there will not be much of a gain becuase you can't take adavantage of the increase octane. It may make the car actually bog a little becuase it will run slightly richer.

Once you have a tune it is 100% worth it, i ran that exact kit on my car and loved every second of it.

im gonna get a tune, but im gonna wait till i get my 60's, 2.7 and wideband before i do it. So basically i would be better off just spraying destilled water untill i get tuned?

dont use it if you dont tune for it and distilled water wont work where you are for now

your car will be slower than it is now just spraying it. there is more than one benefit to running a water/meth kit. a major one is drastically lower egt.
