Meth kit?

Really thinking about running the zzp meth kit but i have a few questions first. Does it require any type of tune I haven't seen anything so I'm guessing it doesn't. Also second I've read that it will create more boost but I'm already pushing 16 psi and I know the stock m62 isn't good over 16 so will it cause belt slippage at all if its even true ? And third what kind of hp increase and iat temp drop will it create? Thanks

ZZP doesn't make a meth kit it's Snow Performance. Yes you will need a retune. Yes you can go further than 16 psi on an M62 without issue. No it won't cause belt slip. Hp at IAT's vary on set up.

It's snow performance.

Yes you will need a tune.

Methanol won't create more boost. I hope you're on a tune with that 16psi. Also, the m62 is good past 16psi.

so will it cause belt slippage at all if its even true ?
Adding methanol will not cause the belt slip. Dropping a pulley size will cause the belt slip.

And third what kind of hp increase and iat temp drop will it create?
Hp all depends on the tune.
Iat2 drop depends on a lot of things such as pulley size, nozzle size, what you're revving too, etc.

Thanks

Welcome

Ps.. Use the search bar and only look at threads in the LSJ section relating to methanol & it'll narrow your results & give you the information you need.

Spraying water/meth through the blower will create more boost.

Methanol willl help you lose less boost but it won't create more
^^^^^ mrb's words

Others will say it creates boost.

Colder air creates a denser charge which in turn makes more restriction.

Methanol also closes up tolerances in the sc, making it more efficient. Less air leakage more cfm output
^^^ words of 100%METH

You can have the meth completely hooked up & if you stay out of boost, you'll be fine.

If you can't drive without going wot then hook it all up except power wire. Then hook up the power wire when you go to get tuned

The tightening of the rotor tolerances is what creates the higher boost.

Mrb is nice to everyone. But if you ask questions that can easily be answered if you search, then he gets pissed.

the water meth you spray into the blower keeps the blower from loosing what it makes by sealing the rotors it dosent create pressure it helps seal **** up
