Meth nozzle (piece that connects to intake)

Long story short, my buddy was helping me install my meth and he dropped the damn nozzle ais send me in my engine bay somewhere and I have yet to find it. I am assuming (and hoping) that it just fell out while I was driving. So anyway, we managed to save the filter part that ais sent that goes into the elbow piece. So we went to a local plumming store and got an elbow piece along with a hose thing that has the little cone like piece inside of it and it screws around the hose holding it in (hopefully someone knows wtf I am talkinn about.. Lol ).. So I put it all together and it seems to hold and spray good. Has the filter that ais sent me and everything. My question, would there be any difference in using my make shift elbow piece and using ais piece? Same general concept.. Only real difference is the ais piece has a thing you slide the hose into that locks it and this piece screws it down.

well, now you have no way of knowing the flowrate (gpm) of your nozzle, unless you go get it flowtested.

I don't understand that. The filter and everything fit right in. Would there be that much of a difference? How would one get it flow tested?

Most nozzles run 3-8gph. You could be using a 12gph and thats WAYYYYYYY too much and youll never know.

What would determine the gph? That little cone thing I was talkin about? I assume its the only difference. I can go by lowes and check those out

The flow is decided by how big or small the hole in the tip of the "nozzle" is. if you don't have a correctly measured nozzle, you could be pumping in WAY more meth than you should be.

why don't you just buy a new nozzle for gods sake? You have been asking about this for a week now, the nozzle would have already been to your house by now and you wouldn't have to ask this question. Also after reading again it seems you are using a nozzle from a hardware store, i hate to say it but that nozzle prob. with not atomize the WM properly and you could be spraying way too much stuff into your motor. But if you want, keep running it and risk your motor.

Just got off the phone with ais. He said I am fine since I still have the injector fitting that ais sent me. Good thing I didn't just go 'buy a new nozzle already', huh? The thing I lost is the elbow and the quick connect. Didn't loose the nozzle filter thing ais sent....
