meth problems :/

devilsown progressive meth kit, 50/50 through a 4gph nozzle and 7-10 psi activation range

so im driving home today and out of nowhere, getting on it a little bit in first, the car starts actig like it does when you get water in the intake (bucking, misfiring)

i look down at my meth indicator deal and it shows that its sprayig full and its stuck there. im off the gas at thus point and the wont drive normal

i pull over pop the hood, pull the meth hose and sure enough its spraying full! wtf...

shut the car off, keep the hose unattached and restart. i limp the car home, it was a rough ride thinking i could have just flooded the engine!

it didnt spray anymire after that but wtf!

maybe ill have to rebuild my engine sooner than i thought!

First and foremost change the oil right away. Don't hook it back up until you fix whats wrong with it (obviously lol), and if you have to drive it, just stay out of boost.

i dont know what a hobbs switch is, the controller is mounted in the car and it used a boost reference hose that runs off a t in a vac line through the firewall to the controller. i'm gonna start there i guess; i wonder if the wire randomly got kinked and that kink made the controller sense higher boost? my boost gauge was definately reading normal.

fuse was good

i WILL change the oil, thank you for the tip infra!

one thing... when i got home i let it run for another 5-10 minutes to hopefully 'evaporate' any fluid still inside the engine. i'm leaving for the rest of the week tomorrow, do you think that would be ok leaving the engine like this? :/ when i turned it off it wasn't misfiring much in nuetral anymore..

im so scared that the pump running full spray while not in boost literally made it flood down the intake side, through the blower, down the manifold and into the motor. this **** it complicated.

Could take it for a quick trip around the block to "slosh" the meth around the intake tract and evaporate it quickly if you're really worried.

Check the vacuum/boost hose, and then the power wires. And install a cutoff switch

will do. only thing i think that may have happened is my power connection, which got a little dodgy the other week reattaching it working on something else.

is the cutoff ran using the afr gauge?

For something like that an emergency pump power cutoff switch/rocker is your friend.

That's a lot cheaper than risking a motor. Still sucks though.

You can find working used ones for $50-100. You could step up to a Coolingmist CMGS with flow sensor for $150-200 if you shop around.
