i was just wondering how much does a one quart bottle last our cars i have not installed my stage 2 kit yet but i installed my meth kit and i just was wondering what was an average time frame that it lasts i have the ais stage one fender kit with the 1 quart tank

 

totally dependant on your driving style, the harder and more frequent heavy footing will result in running out sooner.

 

why are u running meth on a stock setup? or even a stg 2?

i was actually thinking about getting meth, h/e, dual pass w/ opt b. before i did any mods at all. how is that a bad idea?

running meth is for a cooling effect but mostly for running more octane so u can push the timing as far as possible..with only being a stg2 and not creating much heat meth isnt needed u can run a h/e and dual pass (because if u running stage 2 ur not really worried about being the fastest) and u dont benefit adding more timing much more than what a stg 2 provides so if ur maxed on timing then what is meth doing for u? waste of money IMO..now if ur running a small pulley then yes..good upgrade..but a stock car or stg2...ur just wasting money

 

Running methanol untuned will just make you extremely rich unless you are only spraying distilled water which will lower temps. I recommend only running a small amount of methanol if you are stock or untuned. Distilled water only will result in the best increase since you are stock.

 

thanks for the info i am just waiting on 2 more parts then i will have my stage 2 and dual pass with option b and my heat exchanger than i will get it tuned
