There probably isn't an exact answer. It depends on the how much boost you're running, how hot your intake/engine temps are etc. I would say that the methanol/water injection would do a better job because it literally cools the blower and air charge where as the HE will cool pretty much just the air charge.

Is there a reason why one kit is $205 and the other is $439?

I htink because the devils own kit comes with the MAF thing to work with gm vehicles, and the devils own doesnt.

The devils own kit comes with works with the MAF signal and is made spesifically for GM cars, and the devils own kit is more general and I believe its a progressive kit.

You mean the Snow comes with the MAF right? Man thats BS to charge that much extra. I'm going to get one of these kits soon and just have 2 questions. 1. Do I have to run out and dyno tune after the install? 2. I seem to get a 50\50 opinon on weither to inject before or after the blower. I was told it will kill the blower if injected before the blower by some.

your questions number one and two have been answered before(Many times actually) The devils own is a cheaper kit, probably the same good quality,(Probably not, since you get what you pay for) but i always get the best out for my car so I got the snow performance which has been around for much longer. Also it works with the MAF signal and the devils own works by boost or proggresively not sure on that/

intense, did you not just read what I wrote!
here is the same thing I just said in other expensive words

Snow Performance
Stage 2 Cobalt SS Boost Cooler™
Specifically for the Chevy Cobalt SS. The Digital Variable Control unit proportionally injects more or less water-methanol according to input signals from the mass air flow sensor. Designed for use with the Cobalt SS Eaton supercharger. More power over a wider range and better drivability over the typical boost actuated system.

Devils Own

The free shipping code is: 212bdb
It's on the ad that pops up on the bottom of the screen every time you open this thread.

The Devil's Own kit that I bought doesn't come with a Progressive MAF controller. The kit from Devil's Own that has the progressive controller is only $305 anyhow. I can purchase the controller separately later on if I so choose.

I have personally installed the Devil's Own kit on an Audi TT turbo and I was impressed with the quality/performance, plus you get three different nozzles to suit your application, and you choose what size bottle or you can buy one locally. The pumps for both kits are from the same exact manufacturer as well, Shurflo. The Snowperformance Stage 1 universal kit is the same as the Devil's Own kit except it'll only include one nozzle and the it includes the bottle. The Cobalt SS kit for $439 comes with the progressive controller, and that's the only difference from what I was told by SnowPerformance.

I will spray before the blower to keep it cold. I have only seen one instance on here where someone messed up their blower. A 50/50 mix will not eat through the epoxy coated rotors. I have my custom dyno tune I did for the 2.6" pulley already that I'm going back to this week, and I'll do some adjustments after installing the Meth Injection if necessary.

So basically if the devils own kit included all the stuff that the snow performance kit comes with then they would cost the same?

Not exatly. The Devil's Own would come in at $330 fully loaded and the Snowperformance would still come in at $439.

My kit should be here friday hopefully, so I'll post some pics of it I guess for all those still curious.

isn't the snow kit after the blower..??
I believe TAG was selling these but stopped since they had vacuum issues with a valve.

it was modified for after the blower... and if you run it after the t/.b you need a solonoid valve so vacuum doesn't syphon it in and flood your motor (trust me on that one). and the snow kit does come with 2 nozzles 275ml and 375ml but I ran the 275 and it worked perfectly. I"ll be ordering a new snow performance kit next week since I sold mine when I had originally parted out my car to start from scratch (and replace my axles...lol)

you can run it after the blower, but I sprayed through mine for over 10,000 miles and my rotors still look new... actually better then most others I've seen that didn't run meth, It keeps the blower from getting hot at all and warping, which is what really damages the rotors when the hit the casing due to heat/expanding. worked great for me and my IAT2's dropped @50 degrees +

The Snow kit does not come with the adapter like TAG sells. TAG made their own kit with that adapter. Spraying after the blower would be fine as long as you have a good check valve to prevent vacuum suction. The Devil's Own kit comes with a high quality special made brass check valve so this wouldn't happen. Thus, if you wanted to spray after the blower, you could with an adapter like TAG's.

I think the new snow kits have a check valve built into the pump itself... I dunno, I was gonna use the tag kit, but didn't really like the dual nozzle setup for it.
