Methynol question
There are no detergents in this washer fluid, all it is is water mixed with some meth, I think its a 70-30 mix. Thats all thats in it, thats why I use it to get the meth mixture up instead of just plain water.

I think I might just go with HEET and water but I could swear I read in a thread a while back you could buy just straight methenol at a hardware store.
its probably colored. nothing that will hurt your engine anyway..
Its just a dye to make it look pretty so people will buy it...if it was clear everyone would think its just water and wouldnt buy it lol...but its up to u what u run in ur car, Im everntually gonna just start buying pure meth from one of these places around here.

Yes I did, I was going to do the windshield wash seeing how I work at a body shop and we have a couple of 55 Gal drums full of it but I would just rather get the 100% and mix it with distilled water so that I know exactly what ratio I am running and so my mix doesn't vary much at all.
I know you can buy "boost juice" online but I'd rather just mix it myself

its better to buy straight methanol and mix it yourself. buying washer fluid and upping the methanol content with heet is expensive, i bought a gallon of meth for $6, im mixing it 25/75 meth/water, so it costs me $1.50/ gallon of mix, instead of $3/gallon for washer fluid.
be careful if your mixing it your self.cause if you reach 50/50 it becomes flammable. so be careful. i use peak -20 or theres this other that i got but i dont remember the name but, its -35. with the -20 or -35 washer fluid is more than enought meth mixed in. ive been told the -20 peak is about a 75/25 and the -35 is about a 70/30 mixture?
whats the differeance with distilled water over tap water?

according to the devils own forum, member report as little as 20% can be flammable. the reason to use distiled or bottled water is because of the minerals in tap water, however many people use tap water, all that happens is the nozzle and filter can clog up from the deposits. when doing this it recomended to remove the nozzle and run clr through the system, flush it out with water and hook it all back up, and do that every 6 months.
Tap water will create corrosion, distilled water wont. Windshield wiper fluid is about 75% distilled water and 25% methanol. It's not a very potent mix. I recommend running at least a 50/50 mix to get the most out of the meth kit if not more. The higher the methanol mix is the more timing you can safely run, the higher the distilled water is the better cooling will be.
Dont do HEET and water, way way too expensive..
Do methanol and distilled water.
Dont do bottled water either, thats only purified, you will have to flush the nozzle too.
Look around for deals on methanol, I got it for 1.99 a gallon from a local place here.

some Quad/dirtbike places have it. Not a dealer, but a repair/parts place for them. Not too sure about Home Depot, you will prob. pay a lot. Do you have any petroleum plants or something in your area, thats where I got mine from here.
