Question Modify the supercharger of go Hahn stg5??

i've got about 10grand to spend on parts and labor and i need some input. Hahn says they can get 360hp on 93octane with their stage5 turbo kit. I'm getting performance/forged/blah blah blah crank cams pistons lifters...etc so i don't have to worry about blowing it up. my question is what would be worth the money in the end? modifying the hell out of the stock supercharger or getting the kit from hahn and getting a larger turbo to hold more boost?

hahn kit +1, nothing else is going to come close, plus that setup if good to over 420whp with a built motor.

Hahn kit without a doubt. And I doubt anyone, if only a few, will tell you otherwise, that's how sure-fire this is. And it's because:

With 10K you'll have more than enough for all the supporting mods, plus traction, and the turbo kit itself. That said, you quoted 360hp. No, try 400+, you'll be able to crank the boost safely. The person on here with their test kit has all the supporting mods so they turned it up a little and made 440hp, and they still hadn't turned it up as much as they wanted to.

haha i just wanted to get some input, so i don't take any offense to that. but yes it will be a fully built motor with 500horsepower rated axels with spec stage4 clutch and other tranny parts to get it to the ground. i'm just gonna miss the whine of the supercharger though, but when i get that huge kick in the pants from the huge turbo, i won't miss it haha

Does anyone else have this kit yet?

P.S. Being 18, i love my car being my only expense

I wouldn't go that far.

What's 10 grand, minus the negative equity on his balt, minus a ZO6 = ~52,000 dollars. Somehow I don't think he's gonna get the same monthly payment. Not to mentiont the inusrance.

The comment about twin charging, although ignorant (not having all the facts), made more sense than this proposal.

tons of 03-04 ZO6's for very low 30's and high 20's, just got to be patient and look. u get one for say 32k,u put the 10k down, sell the balt for what u paid 14k i'm sure u can get that for it, u have 14k worth in mods or u can pay off more of the car, now 14k in mods on that ZO6 ur looking at a 10 second car and the car is streetable and daily drivable. i'm just throwing that out there. cuz the cobalt wont hit 10's with the turbo kit, maybe low 12's. and thats already pushing it for daily drvier

ha I will have to agree with you on that, **** I'm not even close to my goal in power (500whp) and already at 411whp I have huge traction problems, **** when my clutch holds I spin em til about 130mph or so. speaking of which, I really need to install my exedy one of these days

why not buy a house thats what i did... and im 21 just had a new house built. and do stuff here and there to the cobalt.

dont buy a z06 thats a bad idea, 16mpg and gas here in stl is over $4.29/gal.

if you have some much money and have to have a fast car the electric tesla roadster 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. and it looks badass

my opinion each, to his own.
