I'm wondering what pulley size everyone is using. Obviously the 2.5 pulley will produce the most power. Just trying to get opinions and see what everyone is running so when I drop my pulley size I'm just going to go with that size.
2.8" voted anyway... Though if i had the injectors id be at a 2.5/2.6..
The most popular is 2.9 I would say. and the smaller the pulley is not necesarily giong to mean more power. I would do some research and come to your own decisions, because the size of the pulley is also going to determine what else you should have to go along with it.
That right there is just stupid and asking for it. I'm running a 2.7 w/ a HE and water/meth. I need to put my dual pass on.
2.7 if you want semi decent power, 2.5 if you want respectable power. 2.5 is fine if you have a custom tune from a good tuner.
And ignore everyone who says smaller doesnt give you more power, they are just dyno queens and dont realise that you might only gain a few peak HP the power you gain under the curve is far more important and improved. I saw a bigger difference going from a 2.9 to a 2.7 than i saw going from a 3.1 to a 2.9.

I guess it depends on what your looking for...

After the 2.8 the blower does start to get too inefficient and generate alot of heat. Most of the guys on here that are making the most power are running 2.8 or 2.7. Anything smaller than 2.7 and you really start to lose top end power.
I run a 2.8 daily in the summer, a stage 2 pulley daily in the winter, and after i get a retune i'll run a 2.7at the lowest on the M62 on the track. TVS is the true power potential for a Supercharged LSJ and slapping a really small pulley on the M62 just isn't a good idea. Very few 2.5 and 2.6 pullies run great and last long. There are some but not very many!
It's my opinion that anything smaller than a 2.7 is asking for trouble on any SS/SC that is driven somewhat daily and in all types of weather. The heat is your biggest enemy with a small pulley. Cooling mods are a must! Period!
On a race only SS/SC, if anyone actually has one, do what you want. They make a 2.3 but thats just dumb...
