Back on point for a second, I'd get a header. Like Bad Mab for $160 shipped, super cheap. Gets gains, likely more than the intake, and if you put on the header yourself, your only like another hundred from a intake.

Though hearing the intake would likely be one of the more enjoyable first mods.

h3 proto don't let these tools bother you. For 1 they prolly got 2 crappy cobalts and they are in love with them to death. BTW there prolly in there 30's and cant afford a real car = ). 2. If i had a srt-4 or turbo cobalt 250 could give me IDK 40-50hp in just a friggin tune. He's trying to look for the fastest. cheapest mod possible. None of us have money thats why were driving a ****** cobalt HAHA. If you had money and bought a cobalt then ur dumb as **** and should go kill urself in your cobalt

What header, in particular, would you recommend?

some of us have faster muscle cars, some of us have a few mid range for daily fun, some of us have daily whips, and some of us have a house mortgage, and some of us are under 30.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm considering it. Would it be obnoxiously loud if I got that header and the ZZP intake? And if I understand correctly, I wouldn't need a tune for those?

Btw don't buy new ****. Just do ur research and look for used parts there just as good even better with good deals. you could easily get a 85-120 intake. 120-150 header.50$ muffler. just some ideas from other members on this site. Don't buy from fakeevo or infliciton they just rip u off

That's his face during the *******. And I like the sandles. Stylish. I bet those and the watch were a combined $500. That's why he can only afford to drive a Cobalt.

Screw modding the car. Just buy beer and a bottle of Jack. Call it good.

The Bad Mab header. Search for posts on it. Pyros has it and quite a few others. It can easily be had for $160 shipped. I have one and like it.

And I'm almost 28, I like my Cobalt lol. Thing is, after having made some really fast cars, I'd prefer to have my reasonable priced car that does a lot of things well than to have another daily driven pain with turbo lag and a anorexic powerband. Once you start going really fast, no matter how good you are the maintenance goes through the roof if you daily drive it. I love cars, but I also love my woman and my gadgets and doing other stuff. So to me the Cobalt is a great fit. Just my side note, not trying to call anyone out.

nothing against driving a cobalt honestly i drive one but i won't dump insane amount of money into it due to it's a cobalt. yeah ill make it quick, do i wanna break speed records, or make a 11sec 1/4 not really. Do i mind making noise down the highway "hell ya". I just see to many kids thinking cobalts are off the wall cool. it's a car it will die don't burn your dollars in it.

Save up about $500 and buy 80's, a pulley/hub of your choice, and get a tune for E85. Also do an airbox mod and that should be enough to put you in the 260whp range minimum.

People get hostile when a thread is made with a question that has been asked before. So they decide the best thing to do is personally attack other people, because that's what forums are for.
