muffler on magnaflow cat-back

Hey guys. I'm gonig to fabricate a custom cat-back exhaust set-up. Probably 2.5"...possibly 3". Just wanted any informaiton on which muffler is used on the magnaflow cat-back setup. I love that sound and want to get a similar/same muffler for my custom setup. Any info appreciated. Thanks guys.

Here's my info, just buy the catback! Its stainless steel, so it will last as long as you have the car. If you go get a custom job, it will be aluminized. Plus the bends most likely wont be as smooth or free flowing. If you go with a 3" it will be shitty! Our exhaust systems have 2 90 degree bends. ive already talked to a muffler shop about this and he said that if he bend a 3" into 90 degrees it would be shitty!

Gotboost it sounds like Rusty is going to make the exhaust HIMSELF.

One that note my three inch exhaust is mandrel bent and it's fine. However the shop did say it's a bitch to put the bends over the axle into the tube and get it right.

you can buy my muffler and nice tip for only 120 shipped and then bend ur piping and it will be cheaper than buying a cat back ohh btw it is 2.5" and it comes with the piping that goes over the rear axle for easy install

I know the muffler has a 2.5" inlet, but I wanted to know which model it was...if possible to tell. I know a guy that works at a muffler shop and has access to all the tools and equipment necessary to make the exhaust. I can definately get a custom 3" done for less than the $500 for the magnaflow kit. Even though it sounds pretty damn good....but thats why I want the muffler.

My 3 inch system vibrant system with a Turbo Muffler and ultra quiet resinator is loud. It's only decent when you put a 2.5 inch silencer in the muffler.

So I would stick for 2.5 inch unless noise isn't a concern.
