I *HATE* how the stupid casting tabs do not get taken off the SC - 3 on one side and 1 on the other - they look so GAY - esp when you put that much work on getting the sc to look good like that!!

I will be painting my SC black - basically blacking everything out in the engine bay. I am trying - with no luck - to find Black coloured braided hose with black fittings, black hose claps, blackity black black

 

amazon sells a sleeve kit in black...i got blue but i know i seen black

Thanks, Area47 - I have tried my local stores but found nothing - I try to keep things local if possible - in this case - it is not possible - I will check those out as well.

 

with the kits from amazon u can order it and it comes with shrink wrap u just heat up..itsw real easy and looks good..if u look up sjschafer look at this vbgarage he has the red set

 

stop going to local morons. look up the part numbers on the said websites, and go from there.

Well..we have 1 really good shop up here, but they deal mostly with trucks - they would carry these, but they are SO freaking overpriced!! I can make a quick run to the boarder store and pick up anything from the States as long as I let them know ahead of time.

The stuff on those sites looks really good - exactly what I need. Thanks again.
