My exhaust smells like corn

Tonight I filled the tank with E85 for the first time! However this is just temporary until Shaun Mcdonald helps me get it all dialed in the right way, but I tried the 60's gas tune with 80'sn E method for now and it is working out pretty good. First I got my fuel trims dialed in on the 60's and pump (been wanting to dial in at low throttle for the longest time and finally got my own laptop) then I swapped in the 80's and filled up with teh E. Either tomorrow or friday I will do some driving and logging to get my fuel trims and MAF all dialed in since I imagine E messed things up a bit, then ill let shaun have his way with it whenever he is ready (for those who dont know he is shaunmcdee on here I believe.)

Some things I noticed:
Had PE set to 11.6 and on E it was around 12.2 on the WB, but it is also cold out, so Ill have to adjust that and work the maf. Ebristol noticed this too IIRC.

Torque is rediculous. Im just running 23* from my meth timing table, but it seems stronger than my 2.7 meth setup and im only on the 2.8.

So far it seems like the 80's idle better than the 60's and get to stoich at idle easier.

I only got to drive around for a little less than an hour but so far E seems like teh goodness, and you get to smell like corn

well, if youre running E85, you're spraying a lot more fuel, so idling would be a lot smoother since its not using such short IPWs

I cant wait to switch to e85. Are people with e85 still using meth? or is it pointless

^ pretty much pointless at that point. meth is what? like 110 octane? and e85 is 100+ octane. I'd have to look up the actual octane ratings

shaun tuned me too. great tune

why do u need 80s to run e85? does it use alot more fuel? gas mileage severely effected?

You need roughly 30% more E85 to accomplish the same thing as conventional gas. Its much cheaper though so you still end up spending less for fuel. You'll just be visiting the E85 station more often. So to answer your question...yes your mpg will be affected.

no u can use regular gas too just have to be tuned for it. 80s are just like 60s but bigger, and capable of running e85 while 60s cant unless ur on a stock pulley or something i heard

keep a laptop with both tunes. if you cant find E85, fill up with premium and load the premium tune.

Man this community REALLY needs something like a Diablosport Predator or Diablosport Trinity. Plug in, flash tune, 1min total, your good to go....

Car can have proper tune on it before your finished filling up.
