If not I will save the money for something else like a dual pass plate or lowering springs.
hey Quik, I'm one of them idiots w/ the GMPP honed exh manifolds.... I had it installed at the same time w/ my GMPP exhaust (keeping my warranty valid) and I thought the motor revved much smoother... I am very happy w/ it and have no regrets

Thanks alot I appreciate it, my buddy has it installed on his with the same mods as me and he said that made a difference in his car to, I am very happy with the GMPP Exhaust so I think the manifold would be good as well.

Thanks for the input, anyone else have the GMPP manifold? what are your thoughts

I got almost 250whp with basically the same mods w/o the stg 3 pulley. I had 239whp before intake and 248whp after and it was about 85 degrees outside and I didn't give my car a chance to sit to cool off. IMO, I would try to dyno somewhere else.

After finishing the pass He told me I got detonation problems. Suggestion by tuner, don't overdo it and come back friday for tuning. We are discussing and told me, well is either increase timing or inject more gasoline. I know there are several issues with 42's so I'm thinking to buy 60's from RC Fuel injectors. Also, should I change sparks? Any other changes other than tuning? I'll post logs as soon I receive them by email. Funny thing is no codes on the car have pop up.

Conclusion
In my opinion, gm tune file is not that good.

Do not let a dyno discourage you cause if you do not have a baseline to compare on a same dyno than it means nothing. Your detonation issues may not be caused by the injectors. What kinf of plugs and gap are you running ...

You should run a one step colder plug.

The tunner suggested me iridium, didn't mention one step colder. It seems that I'll be going with either NGK's or Zex, don't know which one.

I'm deciding between Zex or NGK's

Given your mods you shouldn't have any spark knock issues with stage 2 and a stage 3 pulley... I am suspicious of your tuner. The stage 2 pcm is very adaptable and the stage 3 pulley is like 2.99 inches. How are you identifying this Knock issue.

I really don't know. He's monitoring through EFI live. There seems to be a feature on EFI live that lets you monitored.

GMPP exhaust is 2.25", but its got a freer flowing exit. Its basically, 2 resonaters with no muffler. Theyre a really straight shot through too, very very small resonators. I was very impressed. Loud as hell too.

You know what, a LOT of us are getting a LOT of knock retard, but only a few knows it by getting it logged ! Just look at the first picture of the following Area47's post, it's basically the same setup (Ful GMPP car with stage 3 pulley) and is getting a LOT of knock around 6000 RPM's.

Yeah you are right. They all knock (also the stock ones) except for the methanol injected ones. They all knock because the Eaton M62 is arleady out of his efficiency range at stock 12PSI level lol.

I should also laugh at me trying to boost 22PSI out of that crap over a year ago ...

I think it is time that we open our eyes to what the GMPP Build Books says : Volumetric Ef...
