I'd talk to Rob about a water/meth injection kit. You'll make great power with that setup, but you'll fight off KR much better with a water/meth kit since you're running a 2.5" pulley and 10:5:1 compression. Also, look into some cooling upgrades by next summer, like a dual pass conversion and a second heat exchanger. Good luck man, I can't wait to see how it turns out!

 

should be decent but i just emailed intense to change me from a 2.5 to a 2.6 looking over some posts and input from some others the gains arent worth the heat, when ig et the funds to buy a meth kit ill shell out another $50 for a 2.5

 

Good thinking. These 2.5"'s do give a nice torque increase, but they sure create alot of heat.

 

Yea, just have to call and make sure they change it i sorta messed up my order, but i paid so its all good though LOL

 

bdwarr6, glad to see you're back in the game. I'm sure this setup will yield you a lot better longevity. I know the headgasket and headstuds will work out great for you.

So, how did the sleeve swap deal go? I'm interested still on that subject.

 

I ordered a sleeve, it hasnt arrived yet but at only $83 im willing to try it, but im gonna try to hone the sleeve before trying to replace it
