Got the front end back on, HIDs in the fogs, header and downpipe off and the new header on. Stuck with the down pipe.... nuts were rusted on and round so I cut them off and thats where it sits. Didn't think about the fact that they are welded in studs so now I have to cut them down as low as I can and drill out the holes for the new bolts. Once thats done I can put it on put the wheels back on and get it on the ground, then all I have to do is wire up the new gauges and im done. Here are a few crappy iphone pics.

Thanks, I got it all done and took it out for a test. Needs a tune bad, I didn't mash it to the floor but I got on it a little just once. Hit 16psi between 3 and 4k rpms and you can tell it doesn't know what to do with the extra fuel and air so I backed out of it. I need to get a new exhaust gasket for the downpipe/midpipe connection. Didn't come with one so I had to re-use the old one for now and one of the header studs where the downpipe connects was a little wobbly so I gotta figure that out but I think im going to change that gasket out too with a good one not that cheap foil looking crap. Other then that it seems good, well and the nasty new exhaust smell...

That smell and all the coolant that went all over when I pulled the old lines out. After a few days it will get better.
I'll get ahold of him and see what he says about the studs but im going to buy my gaskets from midas or meineke, whatever it is around the corner. They have the rubbery gaskets with the metal ring center and they work great.

Car is done accept for the gauges that will get done one night this week. I went to the dealer today and got a new downpipe to midpipe gasket and just threaded the header stud through a little more and put a nut on it. I think it's the stud hole in the header to d/p connection that got drilled and tapped a little too big but it's fixed. I noticed the car is a little more raspty now, kinda has an SRT-4 sound without the nasty grumble at the end. Overall I'm really happy and can't wait for the dyno & tune in 2 weeks. When it's all done I will come back and post up the numbers. I think from this point all I can really do with out getting into the motor is a catback and a meth kit. If I can find a decent 2.5" catback I will go for it but i'm in no hurry. I tried to get an exhaust clip but it's kinda windy out.

I had my check engine light and code PO172 (fuel trim too rich) come on pretty much everyday with the OTTP canned tune. The nice thing with the interceptor is you can check and erase codes. Also keeping an eye in you're IAT2 and see if you're getting knock. Nothing worse then modding you're car and blowing it up because you arent monitering things.
It's peanuts to hook up. It just plugs into you're OBD port and hooks it up to a 12v source so it tuns on and off with the key. I know OTTP sells them. You didn't get a tune with OTTPs kit?

Oh sounds easy enough and OTTP said they would email me the tune and never did but I dont have a cable or software to do it anyway.
Thanks, I like how the damper filled that empty space. I don't care what anyone says about it not stopping whell hop but it spins in the rain even with me going easy and no hop yet...did it everytime w/o it. Now I gotta get some good pictures and get a sig made!!

I'm getting tuned by BYT this weekend. Everyone around me that tunes lives in Baltimore or further and I wouldn't be able to get out there before the weekend because of work, thanks though!!
Nice set up! Did you press the hub onto the snout, and have a bitch of a time getting the pulley on? Mine joined fine off the snout, but once the hub was on I had to use a rubber hammer to get it on all the way

Thanks, I had to heat up and beat the adapter on then do the same with the pulley. Same with mine, fit great off the car but just the stretch from going on the snout was enough to stop it. The puller I used to get the oem pulley off messed up the very first thread on the inside of the snout so I couldn't thread into it, just gotta clean the threads if I ever need to use it.

thats the one thing im worried about and hesitant bout doing is swapping my pulley..i have the zzp stage 3 kit but im waiting on installin it till i can find someone who is good at changin the pulleys lol
I would just take the blower off and bring it to a shop to have it pressed off, and they would probably have the right tool to get the new hub on for you too. It would have saved me a couple hours since I had to go to the store and spend the time clearing the threads
ya i just took mine to a local shop in my tiny town and they used a press to put it on in 5 seconds and they did it for free.
