Custom jobs can definately be cheaper than ordering a full exhaust from a retailer then having it installed.

I'd suggest a 2.5 inch setup... which is good for up to 300hp... muffler really depends on the sound you want and what your shop carries.

Call the shop that you want to do the job and see what they have on hand, and what they can order... also make sure that they fully weld the system together... none of this clamp together crap... it leaks and leads to rust.

that too. you can get a good one for like 5 bucks.. then have them do the rest. I would also suggest 2.5. And are you just going catback? or a full custom?

I disagree. Buy a catback. They are stainless steel. They will last as long as you have the car. Plus they are tuned to your car.

People remember what an exhaust is...... mostly just bent pipe..... not that hard to do one yourself.... make it last a long time..... and have great performance....... stop paying these outrageous prices for exhaust corsa $700 out of control shame on you !!!! Have your made and slap on a flow master muffler. You will be good to go. All you are doing is letting air out of the vehicle it is not rocket science.

Actually to get the most air out and getting the most power out of an exhaust is about as close to rocket science as you can get. Some guys on the RL forums can tell you exactly what goes into it. Or you can do a search and see how complicated exhausts are

did it last night and sorry no sound clips, no more pics as of yet ........ gotta get the exhaust to settle in first its slowly getting deeper and a little louder ........ after they did it i drove like 500 feet and turned around (like 6 pm right when they were closeing) and i was like OMFG this sounds hella ricey i dont want it ......... the dude was like WOW ive never had that problem b4 ...... just drive a couple days and see how it breaks in ..... i got about 25-30 miles down the road and it started to sound a hell of alot better but its still not the same as the magnaflow that im selling .... this is weak compared to it but its all good its like 1/2 as deep as the magnaflow was

what mufflers are they and what size piping?

my club just picked up partial sponsorship by JIC so i may experiment with one of their mufflers, i just have to deside on the resonator(s) i want to use.
