Thumbs up Nate's 2.9 pulley

I finally after a couple weeks of saying i was going to..finally put the 2.9 polished pulley i ordered from nate on..It was well worth the money..light as can be..shiny and does pick up on the boost sooner and pulls more to redline..loving it..need to give props to nate for the pulley on a quality piece.

What you talking 'bout Willis? There is no need to do the boost bypass if your car has a stage tune or someone removed the boost limit with HPT.

for some reason I thought even with the stage 2 tune that the boost would bleed off at 16 PSI.

PS
I hate phucking Ebay with a royal passion. And get this, they suspended my account while I have been in Iraq and not using it because they said I was illegally selling things. When I've never sold a damn thing through them or anywhere else on the web ever. Bunch of stupid asses.

NO boost bypass mod! Don't do it! Bad bad bad! You will break **** for 0 gain. Your stage kit removed the automatic boost bleed off.

That boost bypass mod is a myth started back when there were no aftermarket parts for Cobalts and
people needed a quick fix. lol

So don't do it. People have dyno'd no difference at all.

I have Nate's 2.9 as well. I have had it for about a year or so it's been 100% perfect from day 1.

Nate from what I hear, your pulleys are the best man and I cant wait to get one from you. Got a question though, I know its best that we run a little rich on our cars and as of right now I have the stage 2. People on here, from what I researched say that the 2.8 will lean your stage 2 tune out too much and that the 2.9 is the best. Would putting an Air-Fuel Controller let me richen the tune out again if I put the 2.8??? I just dont want to take my car to a dyno and have to get it tuned. Also, do you recommend a higher flowing exhaust before we step down to a smaller pulley then the stage 2? If anybody else knows, please let me know.

I think it all depends on your elevation as well. I am at 2500 ft above sea level and running rich on a 2.85" pulley. I am thinking of getting a 2.8" for the track but I am not sure yet.

i just put my 2.9" pulley i got from Nate a couple days ago and I definitely feel some gains over the stage 2. Anything you can feel is a decent gain. Props on such an inexpensive and sweet pulley.

My 2.85" from Nate was the best bang for buck mod I have ever done to a car. Take off the stage 2 pully, put on Nate's, see and feel the boost. Not much easier than that.

just got my 2.9 from nate put on the other night. let me tell you. that process was a BITCH. 3 of the 4 bolts were easy to get off, no problems. but then that last one, it did NOT want to come off. 3 or 4 different guys tried to get it off, and nothing. finally we ended up cutting the bolt off, but we were careful while we did it, cause we didnt wann damage the hub. cut through the top of the bolt, so we were able to pull the pulley off, then got the rest of the bolt out of the hub, damn dealership had put like a gallon of lock-tite on it... o well tho. we got it off and got nate's on. but my stage 2 pulley is fucked. lol
