what is the best exhaust setup as far as downpipe to catback. i like the look of the stock tip and everything is there any cat back set up similar to that? and what would i need to do in order to run a 2.8 pulley? thanks for the help

 

youll find out that a lot of ppl here will jump your ass for not using the search feature that css has. im a nice guy so i wont jump your **** too bad! haha. anyway to use a 2.8" you will need larger injectors and a tune and it wouldnt hurt to invest in a lot of cooling mods. some guys get away with using the 42lb/hr injectors but its safer to run a 60lb/hr setup. our cars tend to have a lot of heat soak issues so the cooler you keep it the better she will perform. it would be wise to use a colder plug when dropping pulley sizes. if your lookin to replace your exhaust system you have to set some goals first. find out what you really wanna do with the car from a performance aspect and go from there. if your just lookin to slightly mod the car a 2.5" dp will be fine but if you plan on going big it would be wise to invest in a header and DP combo. both zzp and pacesetter make some nice products as well as many others. as for the rest of the exhaust i just got a custom one bent up at my local muff shop. just make sure the tubing is mendrel bent. anything else will hurt performance. with that you also need to set some power goals. to large of exhaust will hurt your performance but if you plan on doing a lot of mods a 3" seems to be par for the course. you really shouldnt need anything larger than that
