Need Help

Ok guys i know quite a few people are running aftermarket DP's in here and i recently put on my vibrant 2.5'' catless DP. I bought it used and it came with the gasket that mounts between the DP and the "catback." I noticed it looked like the gasket had been leaking on one side of it and checked out the DP to see if i could find the problem. It looked like the flange was not mounted as straight as it should be, like instead of being at a 90 degree angle angle it was like 100 degrees or so. I took this into account when mounting the pipe up on the car and held both pipes up in order to try and get the best fitment possible. I tightened the two pipes as flat together as possible and today i can see that there is a slight gap in between the flanges on the bottom. I can hear the exhaust leaking out and want to know if anyone else has this problem and what can be done about it.

Only thing I could think of is take it to an exhaust shop and have them reweld the flange.

Nice illustration by the way

goto a muffler shop, or cut off the flanges yourself and put a clamp like this for your connection...
