next to the supercharger is the pulley, if you look directly behind that you will see another pulley with the belt on it, next to the pulley there is a small square notch if you put a wrench on that (15mm i think) and push down and away from you it will release the tension but you have to hold it down

oh man getting that tensioner back sucks as the wrench usually slips off that square chunk... Theres a custom part made by someone though that really helps...ugh forgot the name.

get a wrench with a coated handle or wrap one in cloth, find that little notch on the tensioner and put a wrench in there, turn it so it is 90 degrees from the pulley and resting on it and the belt, use the black bracket to SLOWLY put pressure down on the pulley and shock, release the belt from the SC while holding tension off

mine slipped off on me a few times, if that is the case, go to a slightly bigger wrench and tap it on with a hammer, it won't slip off until you wiggle it off then, and yes you should coat the wrench with a cloth or something because they are quite stiff

I don't see why you guys are rocking back with a 15mm wrench, if you're careful you can use the leverage between that black bracket and the top of the pulley to push it down very easily without damage.

ugh I was helping with RallyRacers stage 2 install and it was a bitch, the wrench kept coming off. We had to pound one on. If we did it again that square is fucked...

This is the tool Im talking about that makes it 2209348349 times easier

I have a prybar that works the best out of any other option I have tried.

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00943278000P works just as good and doesn't cost $75 plus shipping.

i strongly reccomend getting the pulley boys tensioner tool, much much more awesome than using a wrench or pry bar
