Need help asap

Alright after every possible thing could go wrong with this clutch replacement I'm almost done. 2 more issues, cannot remember how to put the damn splash guards on, and two I cant get the steering wheel off. Everything's disconnected already, do I just tug the hell out of it? Any help is greatly appreciated. I want the car done tonight so I can get to my sister in laws baby shower tmrw. i am not following man. So you dropped the subframe already or you are about to? Are you speaking of the separating the steering linkage?

Have fun with the plastic puzzle.

why are you removing the steering wheel?

i let the rack hang when i do them that way i dont have to mess with the steering u joint lineup

Yeah, what? What guide are you following? GM Build Book never said anything about the steering wheel removal.
It's probably the best guide to follow for this job. Followed it to the T and had no problems.

I believe this guy spun the wheel with rack seperated and fd the clock spring up. Which is why hes tryin to remove wheel correct?

If that is the case then jerk the wheel toward u after electrical and center nut is removed

Yeah he's done with the install. Splash guard just use common sense that's what I did, in one part it has to snap in under the fender lip

Haha sorry guys, yeah my clock spring was effed up. But I finished everything nd didn't break down the whole trip, and she's still goin strong lol! Thanks for the input.
