Need help car wont run!!!!
Background:
Installed a 2.8 pulley and snout on the car last night. Went for some runs and hear a flapping noise. Turns out the belt (which was new) had worn slap off frayed! So disaster. We figure until we track that problem down....install the oem stuff including belt......we do. The car ran with the belt damaged....the problems didnt happen until we took it all off and reinstalled the oem.
Problem:
The car will crank and crank and crank......sometimes for several seconds and cut off. Sometimes it will seem to crank and make a loud clank noise like its hit something. Can turn the key again and will feel like its stuck (like a starter failure).....try again will crank and crank.
So we had to leave the car at one of my best friends house.
I think we have it all connected.....the belt spins....the s/c spins so I dont think its seized. No clue. Need help. Later were gonna strip it back down...check connections and reinstall.
IMPORTANT NOTE: He installed a tune with HP TUNERS. The car ran fine before, after the 2.8. After we reinstalled the Stage 2 tune (so I would still be Stage 1), we reinstalled the OEM stuff. Think the tune may be bad or didnt install right?

i fixed it a injector wire from the harness was under the supercharger bolt and was grounding it out. then it got flooded out because we didn't see the wire but its fixed now and drives great

remove the belt and move all the pulleys and tensionsers to check for binding including the supercharger. Also check the pully alignment. There is a reason why your belt got f'd up.

I was originally referring to doing a complete rewrite of the pcm in case it didnt take with the stage 2 tune I was running (I was stage 1 as I was still stock pulley).
Tan305 is the man. After working on the car with a couple hours sleep in 24 hours and had to go to work in like an hour or so....he lent me his 2.6 pullied SS/SC to drive home in the horrid rain we had the last 2 days. So next day after a 6k march, he eats a bowl of cereal and works on the car again! No sleep. He finds the harness smashed under the s/c and repairs it.......goes to sleep and wakes up with an epiphany. The car was flooded! He resolves that issue and the car runs!
Jason (Tan305) is a member I met here when we swapped rims. Have kept in touch and have hung out with him and his wife several times (my wife and his are into exactly the same things). I am truly blessed to have him as one of my best friends. This is turning into a vouch thread as much as a resolution. God bless you man and we will see yall this weekend! THANKS!
