I know this has been covered before but my real question I could not find...

Should I go with TVS 1320 upgrade which I think will be low 300hp range or should I go Hahn which I think they have a kit at over 400hp.

Please keep in mind I do not have LSD on my 05 SS so I am thinking...what will happen with over 400hp and no LSD during 2 gear pulls and heavy 3rd gear pulls.

Would it be better to go with TVS? Please tell me your thoughts so I can make a well educated decision

well if your not x-crossing having lsd wont make much of a difference in a straight line. what are your power goals with the car? and from the looks of your mods in sig a tvs would seem like a better and much cheaper fit. however if you want them big numbers along with the big bill and can afford it go turbo

considering you dont need a lsd for drag racing so much...

TVS = low-mid 300, but takes ALOT of tuning and work to get higher numbers

hahns kit is around 330 out of the box. The 400hp was achieved through custom tuning and modifications.

 

Thanks for the insight. I do not have a hp number in mind I think 330-350hp is more than enough for the little balt. I would like not to spend more than $3k.

I am not looking to make a track car here still want a good dd car it sounds to me that TVS might be a good deal as well

 

id say go turbo unless you want to be unique then go TVS
nothing really special w/ a 330 whp 4-banger but its easy
not many 330 whp blown 4 bangers but its difficult to get there

i think thats the most defining part between the two

and if your looking for 370+ id say turbo only unless your a crazy tuning bastard like area47
