How do you hook up an LED that will let me know my meth pump is working?? Cant find anything on how to do it

 

Id imagine you just splice into the power wire at the pump and when its on youll see

That will let you know if you are getting power to the pump but not tell you if the pump is working. Invest in a pressure switch and tap it in. Then you know for sure the pump is working.

 

I mean if you have a wideband you'll be able to tell real quick or if yiu have an interceptor you'll be able to tell by iat or just power loss....lota of ways

 

You say that till it happens to you. Happened to me. Luckily I didn't pop my motor. Now I have that red light in front of my face with a pressure switch.

When you're focused on driving like at the track dummy lights are nice to have for certain things lol.

I dont take mine to track lol so risk isnt as high

 

I have the same kit as you. I mean adding the same style of pressure switch that activates your meth off boost, to get one that you can tap in line after the pump so when your pump starts up it lights up the led light as opposed to just tapping into the power source of the pump.

 

Did you just t into the meth line and send it to a 2nd switch?

 

I just put the pressure switch Tee'd in the meth line and made a power connection through it. So when the meth kicks on, it activates the switch and puts power to the led

 

Damn thats really smart! I'll have my kit installed today, so I'll look into getting a pressure switch and all. I also have devils own stage 1. Hopefully they sell a kit with the T, switch, wiring and led for cheap

 

Ya well after my meth pump seized solid on me I changed from tapping into just the power wire for the pump to installing a pressure switch. I'm not sure if Devilsown sells them but you shouldn't have problems finding one. It looks like the boost switch the kit comes with but has fittings on it for the meth lines to clip into.

 

Cool that's what I figured, what psi switch did you use?
