need quick answers (air filters)

I'm gonna help one of our members do the airbox mod. is there an easily available filter that fits directly to the 3.15" stock airbox

I used the AEM Dryflow filter. No oil. Works perfectly. The size I got was the 3.25" x 5". Oh and the whine sounds excellent...

Run down to pep boys and pick up a Spectre filter... check the "Airbox Modification" how-to for the exact part number.

8138 is the spectre#
I went to Auto Zone and got it for $26.74
btw.. I'm very happy w/ mine!

make sure you get the right filter number... the length of the filter is important.

yeah... biggest filter you can fit in there. I know autozone usually carries them in stock if anything. But you can get a universal 3" inlet cone filter

we finished. in about 1 hour. it was very easy. our member CLUTCHMASTER now has the airbox mod.

$6-clamps-(which were not even used)
