I brought my car up to the chevy dealership because of the crank/cam shaft position sesor and they said there going to charge me to $94 a hour for 5 hours of labor! is there anyway you can do this by yourself or or would it be easier just to let them do it?? I need to get it off because im getting tuned on friday!

I had mine replaced under warranty.. they took about 3 hours to complete the job. I'm not sure exactly where the sensor is but the dealer told me it was a hard spot to get to.
I don't think you should settle for being charged for 5 hours.

There's a tsb on this code (at least with redlines) not sure if it's warrantied or not, but as far as I know it's a nuisance code and a pain in the ass to get to and swapping it won't resolve the problem. I honestly can't remember what it's related to but it may be a lean (ie too much air) issue; it doesn't seem like it would be related but most people with non stock intakes and smaller pulleys start to get this code.
