Need some help please.

ok so im planning on getting stage 1 from gm and having them put it on. but after that im planning on getting a smaller pully. i already have a cold air intake so what size pully would you reccomend for daily driving? thanks.

You should just go with the Stage 2. That way you get everything from GM and it is all under warranty. And the Stage 2 pulley is smaller then the stock pulley size. It will make the car a completely different beast.....but still a great daily driver.

Don't waist you're time with stg 1. Get stg 2 and run a 2.9

nope...but you can get one perdy cheap that will bolt right up to the stgII hub!!!

You can get the 2.9 from Smoothflow Pulleys. They are a great vendor on here.

I did the exact same thing only bad thing is trying to find a puller to get the factory pulley off

pep boys anywhere you should just do everything yourself and take it to the dealer for a re flash its so easy and saves you money

it might be cheaper to buy the stage one then just buy a 2.9 somewhere cheaper then buy the belt and hub from gm for like 50 bucks.nate makes them on ebay pretty cheap

I know this, Im just saying its a bitch to get the stock pulley off, plus you have to change the belt. You are better off getting stage 2 so they know you have the smaller pulley installed. Then you can but one of those 2.9s that looks exactly like the stage 2 pulley and has GM or whatever stamped on it.

Yea true I did it this way just because I work at a chevy dealer so it was about $150 cheaper going the stage 1 with a 2.9

its actually pretty easy to get the stock puller off with a pulley puller and have someon sit on the blower

so how much whp difference will i see betweet the 2.9 pully and the stage 2? by the way arnt are cars underrated anyway putting out more at the wheels than the 205hp stated?
