left my gfs house today was about 15C out and car hasent ran all day i went to shift from 1st to 2nd at 4500rpm and she just bawged over and over till i let it drop down to 3000rpm it does this every now and then any ideas>??

 

i have a similar story that just happened a few days ago. i got on it in first and on my way to second the car just stalled kinda at 6000 rpms and the needle stayed there for a while with the engine just slowing down till it died. i pulled over, restarted the car and then it drove fine. i don't know if this is the same thing the OP is talking about or not, but i would like to know what it was....

 

ya i tryed shifting from 1st to 2nd again the same way to c what it would do and she bawged again harder..so i tryed again but shifted at 3000rpm instaed of 4500rmp and no problems so i unno why it would do this

 

i tried to see if would happen again as well and thankfully it didn't.
