New to Chevy Colbolt

Hey everyone I'm new to this site. This Saturday I had to get rid of my 1998 mustang gt because it was pushing 145k and was just time to go. I bought a 2005 Colbolt ss/sc with 14k miles and so far I'm in love. Now that I am adjusted to the speed it is now time to go faster. I was reading and the best bang for the buck was adding a stage 2 kit along with an intake. I was wondering what everyone recomended to get my car into the high to mid 13's. I'm working with 2k right now for investments.

Not trying to sound like an ass, but its COBALT, look in the top left hand corner.
Stage 2, Intake, exhaust are the first steps.
Welcome to the site btw.

Yeah I know but if you got the money anything is possible. I'm new to tuning 4 bangers, so was just wondering what would be a good direction to head in. Thanks for the tip tho.

Everyone here is right on, stage2 and traction. Although, if warranty is of no concern, you can skip stage 2 and make your own, although that gets more complicated than just getting the package from GM...
A cat-back exhaust would be a good place to go too, GMPP has two that are great.

Welcome to the site, and enjoy the balt

Check the mods in my sig. You might want to add some cooling mods also. But the stage 2 and tune was the biggest improvements in horsepower for me.
