added my new intake mani car runs fine and all but my idle is stuck at 2k rmp. idk what the prob is . I was told maybe the tb went bad after it was cleaned and mayb cleaner got into the sensor etc and now the tb needs to relearn it self and it takes it a while to do so. but idk i hope that is the prob anyone has any other ideas? all mylines are connected and sensors , gaskets etc

Did you inspect the throttle plate before you put it back on?

Probably just a small leak after the TB somewhere.

What are you using the other two provisions for? What are you using as a reference for the W/G?

Definitely only "T" off one thing with the brake booster. Run one of the provisions to the MAP sensor (the bigger one) and then "T" off the BOV and the smaller sensor on the middle one.

You probably just don't have a line seated totally on a sensor.

On mine, I have the W/G "T" to the brake booster on the big provision. Then I have what I described above, the MAP on it's one on the far provision and the BPV and other sensor both "T" on the middle...

Sorry, I don't have any real good pictures of it, because I have it all zip tied down below the IM:

It should be just about the same. That picture is just a good angle...

I know it sounds dumb and probably won't make a difference, but try and put the MAP on it's own line and T off the other sensor w/ the BOV...

A press in fitting should work, but Ryan is really encouraging people to continue to vent the head by tapping that and running that to a catch can or just tying it off straight down by the sub-frame...

Something like this:

to check your TB just hook up hp tuners with the ignition on and the car off. look at the TPS, it should be near 0%. then press the pedal to the floor it should go near 100%. when mine went it was saying at closed state the TPS read 33% and WOT it read 88%. replaced the TB and viola problem solved

test that before you go buy another TB... it only takes a second
