New to the LSJ world!

So, today I purchased a fully loaded 2006, Yellow, SS/SC to replace my 2008 LS that got totaled a few months back, insurance gave me $11,303 for it. Anyway, the SS I picked up has the G85 package, with the Recaro's. It is bone stock, and had 58,400 miles when I drove it off of the lot today. I love it, it is a completely different animal. The car was $8,995, and I paid $10,300 out the door.

My question, what should I look for, as in common problems with these things. I already notice the sunroof switch works for dick, as 99.9% of the SS/SC's I've seen.

But what else should I be looking for? At 58,000 miles, I'm sure there must be some big things. Thanks!

The engine is definitely louder than my L61.. Haha

Right before the clutch is all the way to the floor, it clicks, it's weird. Not bad, but only noticeable when it's quiet.

Also, is I was boosting roughly 14psi in 2nd and 3rd gear.. Is this normal for being stock?

Yeah, the previous owner did the recall for that steering **** right before he traded it in!

Well, it looks 100% stock, but it is definitely boosting over 12psi.

The high boost could be due to a clogged cat. There was a recall for it.

Does the supercharger pulley have 4 bolts holding it on, or does it appear to be pressed on?

How would I go about fixing that sunroof switch? It sucks ass, like it sticks and ****.

The roof itself is good though, no leaks, wind noises, etc. Just the damn button.

mine broke a few years ago, i ended up breaking off the little white pieces that were jammed in there keeping it from closing, and it's worked fine ever since.

if your white plastic things are what's broke, just remove them completely

How do I know? Haha

Do I have to remove anything to see these white pieces?

Mine just sticks sometimes, like if I'm opening it or closing it, it will stick and you have to kind of flick it to get it to stop.

I'll let you know soon! As soon as it stops pouring! Since I didn't have a car for a few months, my parking spot in the garage got a little cluttered.
