what kind of boost controller is that? i noticed it has wires running off of it, so i take it you can controll it in the car.

lol if you know him personally he can't drive worth a beans from a dig

He was the only LSJ I knew with all the bolts ons that would run a flat 14 and a 110mph trap speed and a 3 second 60ft

2.2 60's bud.

driveing skill and the cars abilities to hook up are two different things.

when you get up into the torque range i was at you'll see.

nice numbers man. I'm going to look at a new turbo this weekend I might pick up. Not sure what it is though.
housing has M-11 A/R .60 and it's a garrett dbb... so... need to look at it and figure out what it is cause I got one hell of a deal on it. If so, it goes in Saturday lol

I drive the car 500-700 miles a week lol. plus I work in manhattan, so I really can't go fast in gridlock traffic lol.
Maybe further down the line once the monte is done (5.3 vortech/ electronic overdrive tran's from an 01 silverado) I'll be putting that on DD and probably go with something a tad bigger in the cobalt.

yeah mine doesn't run out up top, I could actually push it a little more if I wanted to. But I don't like using cheap equipment... always ends bad

doubt your thinking of me.....

the car never had "just a few" bolt ons....when i started to mod it went hard and fast then i sat at limit of the blower for a summer and now this.

did the build about 2mo back or so.

and for the sake of a fairly non-post whored thread i'll say this.....you do know you picked an awfully inefficient turbo set up correct? did you at least spec the turbo per rear mount turbine size formulas?

none the less it'll be good to see another cobalt like me running around up here, what piggy back will you be using?
that may be so, but i like the loud sound of the turbo spooling up from being in such an open area in the back. there are a few STS turbo guys running around VA.

I run with the AEM fuel/ignition controller. It controlls pulse width allowing me to swap out to bigger injectors.

the FIC isnt bad, its the bare ****** minimum needed to do a project such as this.

it wont be bad wiring it up. i already know what type of sensors are on the car and right now im working on making a plug and play harness. My dad sent me an ECU and the pin out's diagram to help me with it. Right now im working on un soldering the female connector from the ecu board and re soldering it to the other end of the wires of the aem harness.
