news about stage kits

I know everybody is sick of stage kit talk but my dad works for GM and i have been hounding him and he finally got in touch with somebody at the GM performance center and he had this to say
if you order them now it will show as pending as the have not been released and wont be for 2 more weeks at least maybe even as late as the 14 of next month.
stage 2 will sell for 750 dollars even though it only costs dealers 525!
im getting stage 2 for 625 because of my dads discount. my dad and i are going to do the install ourselves and them ill have to take it to the dealership for the reflash.
sorry if this has been covered i just thought i post what id found out today.

the part numbers show up, as of today, I checked, they are still 'cancel upon order entry' at the dealership I go to. So, they 'don't exist' to the dealer until they can actually order them. There is plenty of proof that they exist...(in our minds ) so, be patient and enjoy the warm weather in Fla they'l be out shortly...

p.s. this is for cartercar

I was at a dealer on Friday and asked about availability. Now the older gent knew nothing about what I was talking about and I had to show him how to find the part number, but he said that the only message he saw was "ship direct" so he ordered it. He didn't know how long it would take and I will call tomorrow to see if it is still a legitimate order.

I went to my dealership and the guy new exactly what I was talking about, and he pulled out the catalog and showed me and then he put the number into the computer and told me the prices, so I don't see why people would think they don't exist??? YOU PEOPLE ARE JUST GOING CRAZY!!!!! Just wait, I don't see why this would be any surprise, did everyone forget how long we had to wait for our cars????

I didn't wait for mine. I received my car the same day I bought it. That was last July.

Well, if these aren't warrantied, GM will loose lots of sales on them.

The kits are warrantied and mostly like will be out in the end of march first of april. If anyone remembers before the kits got into the system and everyone went ape ****, end of march was the original date for release.

It's all good in tha hood lol, anyways people I think just can't wait for these little performance boosters, just like a kid can't wait for christmas to open their presents. Also about the warranty issue, I thought that as long as it is an official GM part, which the kit is, it does not void any warranty what so ever.

I'm going to get it either way. After all it will be by GM and probably will be the most reliable kit out there *when it comes out. As long as it's not too expensive. I keep hearing all these different prices for stage 2: $590, $637, $750 etc. I really hope the stage 2 goes for $590 from the dealership. I'm hoping I can get the price down since invoice is so much cheaper than what they will be selling these kits for.

Invoice

invioce for the stage 2 kit is $525. according to GM perfomance parts. list is $750! i talked the dude at the dealership to 625 which is still a 100 dollar profit for just having a shipping address.
