that's what i'm doing

I figure I'll just have to work on my launch until I get the mounts, because once I grab I'll be gone a lot quicker than if I have traction off the line but no hp in the long run.

well i was gonna put the 2.9 on and get a custom tune but paul who tunes told me he wouldnt recomend the 2.9 on stage II injectors and to get 60's and seein as i need my warranty i guess the smaller pulley and tune isnt an option then :-/ (i dont care about warranty parents would kill me if i voided it thats all|)...so instead i was jus gonna do the full exhaust and mounts couldnt think of something else to do, i guess ill do the mounts first tho

the mounts don't help with traction. they just stop your wheel hop.

Mounts.

I am telling you all.

You feel like you gain 30whp with the mounts.

**** mounts are cheap...get that bullshit header and DP too then talk about how they make the car so much faster and in reality it is the mounts

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place... I wouldn't call mounts cheap (motor mounts anyway).

i guess that's not too bad.

since I don't want my car to vibrate apart, which is better to do if I only want to do one: motor or tranny mounts?

This is what cracks me up about people.

They want fast, but they don't want the car to feel like fast car.

yeah it vibrates...at start up, and when you take off from a dead stop.

Your subwoofer makes the car vibrate too. Better get rid of it(not directly fully towards yourself)

Get both...go big or go home, but if you are going to pansy out get the motor mount.

The Turbo Tech Racing mounts IMO vibrate LESS than the Ingalls ETD.

2.9 is safe on stage 2 many people are running stage 2 with 2.9 and even 2.85 which is stretching it

just get mounts, you already have a catback, the dp/header can wait.

Aaron. hate to say it, but no. someone set the etd wrong if thats the case.

get a cat back, intake, motor mount. call it a day.

also 60's don't void the warranty if you can get the trims within spec. the dealer will never know.

i have tested this

Part of the reason why I stated I felt the vibs were more with the ETD, is that the ETD, has a metal to metal contact from the frame to the engine. You do hear some of this contact, where as the mount does have a 100% absorbed bushing eliminating this.... They are both close and I do believe a lot has to do with the settings...
