ngk-bkr7e @ .040 will work with your mods.
buy a gap tool and a few extra (cheap) plugs and practice....

very easy install. first thing I changed after I got my stage 2 installed. Bought a set of 4 plugs (BKR7E) and gapper at advance auto parts for like $8.

if the plugs are iridium you cant use the gapper to actually gap the plug, only to measure it. us a screwdriver or something to move the metal piece up or down. its kind of a hard way to do it, but if you use the gapper tool it will break off the iridium tip. i found out the hard way.

I have these as well and they make the car run alot better IMO. I havent tired the NGK plugs yet.
I am going to check my plugs at 6 month intervals I think. Depending on how they look, I might replace them once every 6-9 months, but I'm not sure yet.

Only one way to find out for yourself. Get a set and see how they work.
I've noticed with my A/C on, that my car can bog a little if I shift too low, but if I shift high enough, or dont have the A/C on, then its no problem. Zex are still working well for me.

its personal preference as to brand.... they all work well but it does depend on our aftermarket upgrades and other factors. in reality you could also run autolight and champion and bosch along with the OEM which are NGK or the Zex. the plugs come pregapped but you should always check. the Bkr7E IX are iridium and seem to work well but i have also heard good things from the Zex. for some reason though i think they are rebranded Bosch. if im wrong please excuse me..

from what little experience I have, gapping plugs seems somewhat relative to what your specific engine likes. some gaps work for some people's setup, and then not others..

best thing to do is use someone else's as a starting point, but test drive and then gap appropriately.

Would it be better to run the bkr7e ix or just get the bkr7e? I am in the market also.

So how much better would the iridium plugs be over the others and what are the benifits from them?

they arent better IMO.

from what i understand they offer similar performance to a copper plug, but last alot longer.
Someone with more knowledge than me will chip in im sure.

I like running the NGK coppers. I know they will wear out quicker....but i dont have any problem changing plugs more often if it means giving my car the best possible plug. (again thats just my opinion)

Thanks for the offer Doc but I talked to the owner of my local napa dealer(that we spend $10,000 a month at) and they said they will get what ever I want. She ordered them and gave them to me for free because the kid was being lazy and gave me the run a round. She said he is always that way and would fire him if he didn't work for free(son)lol.
