NGKBKR7E after 15,000 miles

I just took a plug out to see what it looks like and honestly I think they look pretty good.

There are pictures in my vbgarage.

My web page was telling me to post something so here you go.

I have been running stage 2 w/ 2.8 since June. I have not been over 5000 rpm since the info about idc's. I am in the process of getting 60's, CTI DP and a tune in the very near future.

Just wanted to post the pics of my plugs to see if there was anyone out there that can see something wrong with what they look like.

I already compared them to the pictures in this thread:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ight=bad+plugs

I think the plug looks most like the normal one.

Also how long should we use plugs/ when should they be changed?

The electrode looks pretty chewed up in the 1st pic. I don't know what the life span of our plugs are but like you I check them every couple of months. Based on that first pic I would change them, plugs are cheap.

Electrode has a V built into and look EXACTLY like mine. They look perfect, that chocolate color on the ground strap is exactly what you want.

As for the IDC, get a wide band and see that it's running PLENTY rich at 7000 rpm with 42 #.

Go to NAPA Autoparts. I got mine for $1.89 each. They were pregapped to .35.

Also get a gap checker to verify/change to what you want. Only about $1-$2 as well.

Looks good dude. My NGKs looked just like that after a year of stage 2.

They are great plugs. I'm running ZEX plugs right now to see the difference.

The ZEX plugs are working well. I'll pull them out later down the road to compare.
