No fun running stright headers!!!!!!

So i had a weird noise i posed on eariler which sounded like an exhaust leak, and on my way home from visiting my family all of a sudden my car sounded like a monster truck!!
I find a muffler shop in town while setting off car alarms in a 10 mile radius and look and find out that the ZZP Mesh piece between the header and the down pipe totally popped off!

Ive never heard something so loud before in my life, and the reverb in the car was unbelievable! oh well, ill never have to guess what my car would be like running strait heads anymore!

Dude are you serious?! Listen to this .. I have that same piece from zzp and it broke in the same spot! I called and they said that its my engine vibrations that caused the downpipe to break and they won't gve ne a new one. Let's form an alliance!

so they're admitting to making a part that can't handle the car it's made for? sounds pretty shitty if you ask me.

I could do that, but I think zzp should step up.

you think thats loud, try driving a 70 challenger with a 440 2 miles with open headers, that will distroy your hearing.

ZZP is known for their problems. Hence why I went with Cobalt Addiction.

I welded on a pipe for the meantime but i feel like i just want to totally start over on my exhaust system. Ill call ZZP as well and see what i can get out of them, hopefully i can get a discount on a new Dp at least!

At idle my car set off every car alarm in my neighborhood when I had it with an open header. Then proceeded to drive 55 miles to the exhaust shop

WTF! DUDE mine did the exact same thing last week, flex pipe is in good excellent condition and it just poped out from the header! they were saying was was from vibrations... GRRR

did it look something like this?? this is the aftermath of mine, notice i had to close hang it in place to make it the rest of the way to my destination!

sounds like zzp has a defective part. I wont ever buy any zzp exhaust parts for the simple fact EVERYONE is breaking them or they are rusting through...etc
