No idea

Car has never ever ever given me a problem until yesterday. I think its something stupid but ill see what you guys think

Yesterday im driving home ( torential downpour )
car driving fine, 30 minute drive home from work
boom shuts off.
2-3 tries turns on and takes off again. pulling into my driveway 2 mins later boom shuts off again. turns on and makes it up drive way and shes in for the night
my parents tell me this AM ( im a heavy sleeper )
car alarm just started going on and off 6-7 times last night
weird.
i go to unlock the car today and the horn beeps as if i locked it instead, thinking eh maybe i made a mistake i unlock again.
starts up no issues.
pick up the old lady and drove about 30 minutes back to work because i had to pick something up. i shut the car off and notice theres a noise coming from under the hood.
sounds like its in the fuse panel like a shorting out sound.
its still pouring so i shut the hood and went about my buisness and came out 20 minutes later and the sound is still going. weird.
car starts up. and now im on my way to my buddies house i told him we had to look at the car in the garage when i get there somethings weird.
were driving there ( its about 10 minutes from my previous stop ) and the wipers stop working mid way thru. i turn the button off and then on again and they continue to work fine.
then boom she shuts off again.
it starts but the rpms immediately go below 1g and it shuts off. this is repeated and repeated. any time i go to give it gas it just dies instantly.
finally she sputters enough to get to a parking lot where i leave it, have my buddy pick me up and we go to his house for dinner etc
3 hours later we come back, and i have the car towed to my house.
guy drops the car off at my house and leaves and for ***** and giggles i try starting her. Boom fires up first try and idles mint again, no sound from fuse box nothing. it runs for about 10 mins and i shut her off and go inside perplexed.
there is a cel but i have no scanner till tommorow or the next day to figure out what it is.

ANYONE have any ideas? I bet its something stupid since the car has never had an issue in the 3 1/2 years ive owned it.

I called fred at SMG and he said try replacing the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay and a separate issue could be the maf got wet from all the rain. he says it sounds like two small separate issues that happened at the same time.

Any help is appreciated. Its supposed to pour all day tomorrow but now that shes home i have a garage and can check it out.
Thanks in advanced for any help

tommorow when i throw it in the garage i might take the whole fuse box off, then reconnect it, pull each fuse and check for any signs of corrosion or well anything and then reinstall everything. if i dont see anything there then im stumped

im gonna run some key cycles thru it during the day tomorrow as well. also let it run for a bit shut it off, let it run for a bit, then off etc.... see if it goes away since it wont be moving i know it wont be getting wet again so, we'll see what happens. im hoping this fixes it, electrical scares me

all that was due to the maf getting wet yesterday.
it threw 8 codes via the scan tool at autobone.
on the way home it cleared it self.
i was on the phone with fred from smg and he told me a bunch of good information.
going to take it up there wednesday just in case to be sure and just plug it into HPT
