No more ss for 2008

I don't know if this has been covered yet...but I was looking through the new import tuner mag yesterday and saw an article about the 2.0ss. Well for 2008 they have scraped the model all together. They said that it has been mocked for the huge tacky spoiler and underpowered motor. the only model le3ft will be the 2.2..wow..what a load of crap. Either these cars will be worth nothing..or like the dodge srt4 retain their resale value.. any thoughts?

You also can't get sunburst orange metallic or laser blue... I think. I would assume they will retain their value.

well... you're like 6 months late. and the 2.4 isnt going anywhere. it will be renamed the cobalt sport.

the reason the ss s/c will be discontinued, is not cause of its super gay wing... its cause of emissions. the rules are getting more strict, and the LSJ just cant make the cut.

also, i'm pretty sure the ss cobalt will make a glorious return in 2010 with the turbo solstice motor, so dont fret too much.

I think its cause GM figured out that their POS cars are maintnance nightmares and almost no one in their right mind would buy one of these anyways. You will pay just as much for an SI but don't have the relaibily issues, shitty resale value and headaches of a domestic 4cylinder underpowered car.hahahaha

LOL I wonder what he drives. Sounds like a Honda, but he made mention of the SRT-4. So he's a fanboy of one or the other. Id say his post would be close to spam...

Who the **** is this guy?

neg rep for disrespecting everyone on the site

By the way, the Si is a 4-banger too, and it's slower than the SS Supercharged.

Hehehehe The rear wing is usually all that most people get a look at, so it's not surprising that it's being called out...

The SS is NOT going anywhere for 2008!! There WILL be a turbo/supercharged/directport nitrous injected 2008 SS cobalt! The car is predicted to run 9.8 in the 1/4 mile at about 83mph. The car will sell for 19,000 out the door and only come in limegreen with an option of a hardwood look-a-like paint job. The only other option will be a f-18 jet mounted in place of the wing for an added BOOST in performance, wings are currently in development at the repost factory in usethesearchfunction Illinois to see if the cobalt will be able to take flight. I cant wait to get my 08 SS cobalt ***** fitten to be OFF DA HOOK!!!!

ZOMG
