Just picked up my SS/SC and i dont hear any whine! maybe its just me or im not drivin it right, when i took a test drive in a 2.0 in the past (dealer drove cause i didnt know manual) i heard the whine but i havnt really heard it yet from my car. i opened the hood to make sure there was a supercharger there and yeah it looked like it. hmm dunno, maybe i just have to learn to drive it good to hear the whine. cause i know it has the capabilitys to scream! On the bright side im stalling a lot less and starting to realize how to get the car moving. past that using the gears up and down im getting used to as well so things are good

 

Throw on a cold air intake and then let a buddy drive your car as you stand on the side of the road. You will really hear the whine then. As well as your whine about how your buddy drove your car.

 

Sounds like your breaking her in just fine, especially the clutch

Right on Zoom, the SS is the first stick I've owned too. Not too hard at all imo, except that annoying 1-2 shift.

 

The whine is not to noticeable on a stock car, but once you put and intake on WHHHHHHHHIIIIIINNNNNEEEE!!!!!!!!!

 

Break it in first. I have stage 2 and stock intake air box and shes still silent until I open her wide up then it whines. I tell everyone shes stock hahaha
