normal temp?

I searched for a little bit but didnt find when searching idle temps or stock temp. When Im cruisin car tends to stay around 185F but when Im sitting at a light or in a drive thru it will peak at about 218F then go down to about 200 and do this same process over and over back and forth until i start moving again then it goes back down to 183-185F does this sound about right? no cooling mods whatsoever.

I would say that sounds about right..
mine on the other hand keeps going up...unless i turn on the a/c or heat..
will go to around 220+ if setting at a total stand still for awhile and not moving...
for example stuck in stand still dallas traffic...

It is supposed to run between 180 - 205F / 82 - 96C.
Mine is worse. I'm idling at 240F thats because I have a cracked flex though.
