ok so my buddy has a 1994 celica gt. we have everything needed to install his .45 trim turbo, it will be run via a 7pound external wastegate.
My question is:
1. do you guys think he will need a fuel pressure regulator?
2. Can he run the stock injectors if it is only 7lbs? we know it will be pushing them but is it plausible?

Good point. You could try hitting up the lounge since anything can be discussed there. 2.0 LSG engine specific discussion only here

Hehehe no one has a bloody gt-four anymore...so you're making one or upgrading?

1. Yes
2. No; you're going from stock to a turbo setup you need more gas to accomodate the increase in air or you're going to run excessively lean.

okay, so you dont think the fuel pressure regulator will accommodate the needed fuel increase? how much bigger do you think he would want to go?

it all depends. 7psi with one turbo isn't the same amount of air from another turbo.

its only a .45 trim turbo. I think he could run 7 psi bc with my turbo tc i ran as well as other ppl about 8 psi on the stock injectors. i had the aem wideband and never ran lean. let me know what you think.
