Smile Now This is a Cold Air Intake!

The section of Tube that comes with the Kit is 4 inches long, Needless to say there is hardly 4 inches of straight Pipe to splice it into.>>> Plus having the boots on each end to connect the pipe! It took alot of measuring >> Then Remeasure 3 more times & Then the test fitment, I did it pretty Quick all in all got it Friday night & had it done last Night! Plus I took the time to repolish the sections of the Old Injen Intake. Tomorrow Hopefully all going well I will be able to go out & Log a file with Hp Tuners & Then in the next week or so get to a Dyno, I will post results in this Thread as soon as I get Them.
Enjoy the Pics!
New Video of system Purging thru the spray bar after going thru the Intake!

Cutting out the section!

Test fitment

You can see the Cyro2 bulb in this shot!

The air goes through the intercooler so a CAI is irrelevant

because you might as well just go ahead and push as much hot air in the HE as possible right?

Oh, So the same amount of volume is in both Hot & cold air as far as room it takes up & More air doesn't fit in the same amount of room unless you get it cold, Damn why did I do all that work!

lmao yeaah...thats why with the intercooler pump off the car was boosting 18.5 at WOT, and after it was fixed I rarely see 17psi (all this with a 2.85 mind you...)

Thats it? I can bury the gauge when the I/C pump is not working.

I'm curious to see results from this intake cooler bulb. I wonder if it will actually make much of a difference.

Thumbs up Good job

Definately interested in the outcome here. I've been looking at this for a long time just haven't convince myself it's worth it yet.
Where's the intake from?

Like the other guy was asking about the hose sleeves, is it actually made by Mr. Gasket? I've been wanting to do something like that and I really like yours. Have any specific links to the product?

Thanks!

i've heard mixed things between n2o n cryo. i heard that cryo actually does nothing and theoretically slows it down. there was some post on here about it. let us know how it works. someone dyno'd it n got worse results or something. but every other dyno i've seen shows enormous gains. As well as before n after times at the 1/4.

Yea I hear ya, Thats why I wanted to do it under a sponsorship so it didn't cost me! I have been looking at it for along time & figured what the hell! I can tell you under normal driving like yesterday my Intake still sounds the same, I going out later today providing it dont rain to Hit the button & see what happens to the Intake Temps! Then I am trying to get into Diablo motorsports to Dyno as soon as Possible! I got a few more things coming to install before Dyno Day!
I know that if you decrease air temp you decrease the volume(area) that it needs to take up & In Theory it would pack more air in the same amount of room! So what the hell We will give it a try!
Plus there is the Show factor of it for me!

just out of curiosity you are planning on dynoing without the c02 a couple times and THEN dynoing again with it on a couple times right?
