i work at devilsown with chance and jenna. and i gots lots of mods on mine. (check signature) and i got a 250psi pump. and the biggest nozzle i can run is a DO3. 5 and 7 are too big. but if you log onto devilsown website and sign up as a member, they got a nozzle size calculator that calculates your max boost, max rpms, and engine size to tell you what size nozzle you need to run. but im tellin you its gonna be a DO3

I have an OTTP stage 2, air box mod, meth, dual pass, option b and heat exchanger. I run the DO7 nozzle and my temps are 120-130* after a pull. The car pulls great on top

well then your makin me want to go get it tuned next paycheck!! lol i dyno'd 253 before full meth kit, and full 3" exaust. but i wanna just pay for a dyno tune once. lol so im gettin my 50 shot first. then goin up there to get it tuned. since you can run a bigger nozzle since you got yours tuned now. ill prolly throw my DO7 in there before they tune it. but ill talk with chance about it tomorrow.

Lol well without tuning it yes you're running cooler IAT2s but you're also running more rich. And if you have a canned tune it's probably very rich lol. With my DO7 nozzle i'm running 25* of timing and still no knock. Meth is a great thing haha

You don't need to run a giant nozzle. Bigger is not always better. It's better to adjust the mix of the methanol than to throw in a larger nozzle. I have tuned TVS cars that run just a 5pgh nozzle. Most nozzles are rated at 100psi tho and many many methanol pumps are 200-250psi. That effectively doubles their output. I would look at intercooler efficiency rather than go from a 3pgh to a 7gph nozzle. A higher mix of water cools the IATs more.

If you aren't tuning for methanol, don't even waste the time. If you are, go with a small nozzle and go up IF NEEDED. 24-25* should be cake with methanol. I'm on a 2.8" on the TVS and running 24*

I agree. My kit just came with a 3gph and 7gph so i just went with the bigger nozzle. Seems to keep my IAT's fairly low

I dunno. Enough to royally **** a TON of locals off tho and even some from Indianapolis Man, lighting the tires up at 50mph is cool and all, but it doesn't always get you the win
